About Saba
Saba’s clinical focus is on women’s mental health, including anxiety, relationship issues, and work/life balance. As a mother herself, she has a particular gift for supporting women during the years of early motherhood and in helping couples learn the skills to support their relationship through marriage, fertility challenges, or having a child. Saba has recently been certified as a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator for Premarital Counselling.
Saba also offers counselling services in Farsi, and she is determined to help break the stigma of counselling within this community especially.
No matter what you are going through, with Saba, you can expect to gain the self-awareness and insight to help you uncover your next steps and feel confident in moving towards your goals. Saba is a compassionate, warm counsellor, who brings a real professionalism and strong ethical approach to her work. She deeply believes in the self-knowledge and wisdom that we all carry, but that sometimes we need help in identifying what’s standing in our way.
Having worked previously in hospitality, Saba has a way of making her clients feel attended to, cared for, and supported towards finding integrated solutions to problems.
Saba holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from (Strathclyde University – Glasgow, Scotland). She has also studied advanced French through DELF. Saba is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
